| ASUS ZenFone Selfie Announced, 13MP Front Camera with Real-Tone LED Flash |
One day ahead of Computex 2015 in Taipei, the largest ICT procurement platform in the region, ASUS has formally introduced its first smartphone dedicated for taking self-portray photos, the ASUS ZenFone Selfie.

The ASUS ZenFone Selfie with model number ZD551KL sports a 5.5-inch IPS FHD display, the same screen size and resolution with the ZE551ML variant of the ZenFone 2, albeit protected by a newer Corning Gorilla Glass 4. On the inside, ASUS ditch out Intel Atom chipset and opted to use a 64-bit octa core Snapdragon 615 processor. The RAM and ROM options are 2GB/3GB and 16GB/32GB respectively.

As selfie-centric camera phone, it boasts a 13MP sensor in the front accompanied by a dual-tone LED flash plus PixelMaster technology for capturing great photos with rich and realistic details. It is preloaded with different modes, such as HDR, Low Light, Beautification and Selfie Panorama. Meanwhile, the main camera at the back has the same characteristics with the addition of laser auto-focus technology, which allows user to take photos as close as 6cm.
No mention yet about its pricing and availability. The color options are Pure White, Chic Pink and Aqua Blue.
