| OPPO Mirror 5 Launches in the Philippines, Unveils Sarah Geronimo As First Local Ambassador |
Last August 13 at the SM Mall of Asia Atrium, in an evening filled of brilliance and surprises, OPPO Philippines officially launched in the country the OPPO Mirror 5 together with Ms. Sarah Geronimo as its first ever local ambassador.
The OPPO Mirror 5 sports a 5-inch IPS display with qHD resolution, which translates to about 220 pixels per inch. On the inside, it is powered by 64-bit quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.2GHz each combined with Adreno 306 as its graphics processing unit. To handle multitasking efficiently, it comes with 2GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the internal storage is set to 16GB with an option to expand it using a micro SD card up to 128GB.

One of the main highlights of the OPPO Mirror 5 is the highly sophisticated and attractive diamond-like mirrored back cover. Crafted using the very unique ultraviolet embossing technique, each cut-glass segment has its own reflective properties, giving the unit exceptional outside appearance.

But it is not just about the beauty, it also comes with other useful features. It runs on Color OS 2.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, which is proven to be fast, seamless and enhances user experience. On the other hand, the 8MP rear camera and the 5MP front camera are capable of producing stunning images, thanks to the Pure Image 2.0+ technology. It also has an Infrared sensor, which users can use to control compatible appliances, such as Television, Air Conditioning Unit and Set-top Box.

During the event, a ceremonial contract signing was inked between Jack Ma, OPPO Philippines CEO and Sarah Geronimo, formally making the latter the face of OPPO locally for 15 months.
