Cherry Mobile has just announced its annual festival and just like before, it comes along with tons of new and upcoming devices, once of which is the Cherry Mobile Touch XL 2.
Earlier today, a certain "Ako Si Jhay" posted the image above on Big Time Show Community, a well-known Facebook group among tech bloggers and enthusiasts alike. The Cherry Mobile Touch XL 2 sports a massive 6-inch HD display powered by 1.3GHz quad core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of ROM. The chipset used is unknown as of this writing, but since it only supports HSPA+ connectivity, we bet it would be either from MediaTek or Spreadtrum.

Other listed specifications are dual micro SIM slots, expandable storage up to 64GB, 8MP main camera with flash and 2MP front shooter. The specs might not be spectacular for its price tag of Php3,499, but what caught our attention is the free VR Glasses that comes along with it. If I am not mistaken, this is the Cherry Mobile's first dibs in the virtual reality segment and it will be interesting to see how it performs in the real world.
