| CloudFone Excite 501o Now Only Php2999, Another Affordable Octa Core Android Smartphone |
A few days after we announced that the Cherry Mobile Infinix Pure is currently the most affordable octa core smartphone on the local market, we found out that the CloudFone Excite 501o must share the same title as its SRP is also pegged at Php2,999.
The CloudFone Excite 501o was unveiled around December of 2014, it sports a 5-inch IPS qHD touchscreen display powered by 1.7GHz octa core MediaTek MT8392 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage. It also boasts an 8MP auto focus main camera, 5MP secondary shooter, dual SIM capability with 3G, 2250mAh removable battery, micro USB port with OTG function and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

During that time, it was highly regarded Android phone from a local brand because it was the first octa core device to hit the sub-Php5K mark. We even bought one for review and we can safely say that it delivers well in terms of overall performance. Please take note though that the said pricing is only from Siena Mobile, one of the authorized dealers of CloudFone, and you can buy it in their stores located at SM Cubao, SM Pampanga, SM Taytay, Montalban Town Center in Rizal and Starmall in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. For other dealers and re-sellers, we still not sure whether they are also selling it at Php2,999 because according to CloudFone's website, the Excite 501o still retails of Php3,999.
