| Acer Jade Primo Launches in the Philippines, A Premium Windows 10 Phone |
Acer Philippines has announced today their latest smartphone offering, this time it is not on the Android platform, instead, on the productivity-centric Microsoft Windows 10 operating system, meet the Acer Jade Primo.
The Acer Jade Primo is one of the few windows phones that enter the market, not only from Acer, but also from other brands as well, in fact, some do not even bother to create one anymore. You may look at it on the negative side, but there are still lots of people who want a Windows phone and with fewer competitors, that simply means better opportunity to excel.

Going back to the phone itself, it comes with a 5.5-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with Full HD resolution that translates to 401 pixels per inch and has more than 70% screen-to-body ratio. On the inside, it uses the Qualcomm's hexa core Snapdragon 808 processor that has two Cortex-A57 cores clocked at 1.82GHz each plus another four Cortex-A53 cores with frequency up to 1.44GHz bundled with Adreno 410 graphics processing unit. The multitasking ability is supported by the 3GB of RAM while your games, documents and other files can be stored on its 32GB ROM.

As mentioned earlier, it runs on Windows 10 and has Continuum support with the help of the Acer D01 dock. For those not familiar with Continuum, it is a feature that lets users project the content of the phone to a second screen, such as a monitor or TV, and allow the connection of peripherals like mouse and keyboard for a desktop PC-like experience while still able to use the phone for other functions like text and call.
The other main highlights of the Jade Primo are the 21MP primary camera with 4K video recording, 8MP front camera for taking selfies, USB type-C port and 28000mAh battery. It is now available nationwide for a retail price tag of Php28,990 and comes bundled with flip case, keyboard, mouse and Acer D01 dock.
