| Elephone P9000 Launches in the Philippines for Php11,499: 5.5-inch FHD 64-bit Octa Core Helio P10 USB Type-C NFC Fingerprint Scanner |
After its initial announcement last March, Lazada Philippines has officially launched in the country another bang for the buck smartphone that will surely capture the hearts of local consumers, the highly-anticipated Elephone P9000.
The Elephone P9000 is the flagship bearer among the three devices that were unveiled today, it sports a 5.5-inch LTPS LG-made touchscreen display with Full HD resolution, giving it a vibrant output at almost any given angle. To top it off, the screen is also covered by Dragontrail Glass, a scratch-resistant material that protects it from the usual scratches.

Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio P10 engine, a system-of-chip composed of 8 64-bit CPU cores, four of which clocked at 2GHz each plus another four with frequency of up to 1.2GHz bundled with ARM Mali-T860MP2 graphics processing unit. It also has a massive 4GB of RAM for lag-free multitasking and 32GB of storage, expandable up to 256GB using a micro SD card.
Mobile photography enthusiast will be delighted at its low-light sensitive SONY IMX258 13MP CMOS sensor with large f/2.0 aperture and aided by a laser sensor for faster auto focus. Selfie lovers will not get left behind either, as the front camera comes with 84-degree wide angle 8MP sensor.
The other major selling points of the Elephone P9000 are dual SIM with LTE connectivity, 3080mAh battery that supports quick as well as wireless charging, fingerprint touch ID, NFC, USB Type-C and runs on Android Marshamallow. It will be exclusively available via Lazada this coming April 18 at 12NN for an affordable price tag of just Php11,499.
