| Satchmi Launches The Bit Opus#1, Portable Mastering Quality Sound (MQS) Audio Player for only Php29,999 |
Satchmi, a well-known music and lifestyle store, recently launched several audio products that are exclusive to them, one of which is a high definition and high-resolution audio player named Opus#1.
Opus#1 is a product of the Bit, a company based in Seoul, South Korea, that designs and develops ICT devices such as MP3 players, set top boxes and PMP. The Opus#1 is their one and only portable Mastering Quality Sound audio player, but they boast that it can provide the clearest and most distinct Hi-Res sound, as they co-worked with the best sound designers and engineers from Korea.
It sports a 4-inch TFT touchscreen display with VGA resolution covered with tempered glass and housed in an enhanced ABS solid body. On the inside, it is powered by 1.4GHz quad core Cortex-A9 processor coupled with 1GB of DDR3 RAM. There is a built-in 32GB of storage and can be further expanded up to 400GB using two 200GB micro SD card for a total of 432GB space. Moreover, it runs on Android-based operating system.
In terms of audio capabilities, it boasts Cirrus Logic CS4398 x 2EA dual DAC, it is the same audio chipset found in the more expensive Astell&Kern AK240, or shall I say much much more expensive, since the latter costs around 4x than the Opus#1. It supports up to 24bit/192KHz bit to bit decoding and high definition audio files such as DSD, FLAC, AIFF and APE.
