| Cherry Mobile Flare X Lite Announced; 5-inch FHD, Octa Core, 3GB RAM for Php4,999 |
Ever since Cherry Mobile launched the first ever Flare X, it became an instant hit, and up to this day, it is still one of the highly sought smartphone from the local brand. Banking on its success, the company has unveiled another member of the family, the Cherry Mobile Flare X Lite.
Do not get confused with the "Lite" on its name as the new Flare X variant is as capable and as powerful as with its other siblings. It is still powered by 1.3GHz octa core processor, has still 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The display might be smaller at 5-inch, but it still Full HD resolution, giving it a higher pixel density. Moreover, the camera department even improved from the first generation device, it now has 16MP main shooter and an 8MP selfie snapper as compared to 13MP and 5MP of the old model respectively.

The "lite" side could be attributed at the battery capacity, it only has 2000mAh as opposed to 3000mAh from previous iterations. Priced at Php4,999, we can say that it is still a good buy, however, if fingerprint sensor is your top priority, you better look somewhere else as this one has none.
