| Acer Launches Predator Helios 300 Gaming Laptop |
Aside from the Triton 700 Gaming Notebook, Acer also recently launched another gaming laptop that offers strong performance at a more affordable price tag, the Predator Helios 300.
Unveiled during the next@acer global press conference in New York, the Predator Helios 300 is equipped with an overclockable NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or 1050Ti GPU combined with a 7th Gen Intel Core i7 or Core i5 processor for an outstanding performance. These processing powers are then supported by a huge 16GB of DDR4 memory that can be upgraded up to 32GB, a speedy SATA SSD, and a 1TB HDD.
It also features Acer's AeroBlade 3D Fan with ultra-thin metal blades that keep the system running at full blast while maintaining optimal temperatures for smooth and seamless game play.
Moreover, the Predator Helios 300 notebook line is suited not just for gaming, but for movie watching as well. Its bright 15.6-inch or 17.3-inch FHD IPS displays provides vivid, vibrant, and stunning images, while Dolby Audio Premium together with the Acer TrueHarmony technology deliver impressive audio with crisp, rich acoustics.
Other notable specs, includes a USB 3.1 Type-C port, a USB 3.0 port that features a power-off USB charging, two USB 2.0 ports, and an HDMI 2.0 connection. It also connects wirelessly through fast 2x2 802.11ac technology, and includes a Gigabit Ethernet port for those preferring a hard-wired connection.
