Last April, PLDT and Roku inked a partnership during the Asia Pacific Video Operators Summit (APOS) in Bali, Indonesia. After just more than a month, the union of the two companies bear a fruit that will surely love by the Filipinos, the Roku Powered PLDT Home TVolution.
The Roku Powered TVolution streaming box aims to deliver superior entertainment in every home in the country. For only 199 pesos additional monthly service fee, subscribers get a 1-year iflix subscription, 30-day Cignal TV access that includes all channels as well as exclusive contents, and a 1-month Netflix, all for free. But, that's not all, the Roku Powered TVolution box comes with YouTube and over 50 streaming channels that are custom-tailored to fit the taste of Filipino consumers.
