| Ryzen-Powered Acer GX-281 Gaming PC Arrives in the Philippines; Starts at Php74,999 |
Acer Philippines officially launched the Acer GX-281 – the country’s first pre-assembled CPU powered by AMD’s next-generation Ryzen 7 processor.
"The Ryzen 7 has grown a tenacious reputation among gamers and content creators worldwide for its exceptional processing power and surprising affordability," AMD Director of Consumer Sales for APJ, Peter Chambers said. "We've always been committed to innovating solutions to meet our customer's needs, which we share with Acer Philippines in the launch of this new product."
It is encased with a sleek armor-shaped housing, which is lined with blazing red LED lights. The gaming gear is also capable of providing super speed data transfer, massive storage and expansion capabilities, stunning 4K resolution visuals, and Qi standard wireless charging.

Powered by Ryzen 7 processor and designed to push your gaming performance at its best, the GX-281 boasts 8 CPU cores, 16 Threads, 3.4GHz base clock speed that may be extended to 3.8GHz, and Extended Frequency Range for premium performance and processor cooling.

The GX-281 is available in two variants: the Ryzen 7- and Ryzen 5-powered models. The Ryzen 7-powered GX 281 is a 24.5-inch gaming monitor with 144Hz refresh rate, while Ryzen 5-powered variant comes with a slightly smaller 23.5-inch monitor with a 75Hz refresh rate. Both variants are equipped with FreeSync.
The Acer GX-281 Ryzen 7 has a price tag of Php96,499, while the Acer GX-281 Ryzen 5 is available at Php74,999.
