| OPPO F5 Launches in the Philippines for Php15,990; Boasts 20MP Selfie Camera with A.I Beauty Recognition |
After several rumors, teasers, and weeks of waiting, OPPO Philippines finally revealed their latest flaghsip device, the successor of the popular F3, meet the OPPO F5.
The OPPO F5 sports a 5.99-inch display made from an IPS panel and has Full HD+ resolution, that is 2160x1080 pixels. Yes, this is OPPO's first device to feature an 18:9 aspect ratio, which allows users to enjoy a wider view when watching movies or playing games.It also features Split Screen, which the name suggests, split the display into two to run two applications at the same time.
Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek's new chipset, the MT6763 that has 8 Cortex-A53 CPU cores clocked up to 2.5GHz each bundled with ARM Mali-G71 graphics. It also has 4GB of RAM for smooth multi-tasking, and 32GB of internal storage, wherein 22.3GB is available to the users.
OPPO elevates its selfie game with the F5 by incorporating their Artificial Intelligence Beauty Recognition technology, which can recognize more than 200 facial points, skin tone and type, gender, and other facial traits to bring a more natural selfie images. It has a single 20MP front-facing camera to deliver all your selfie or grofie needs. Meanwhile, the main camera mounted at the front has a 16MP resolution and accompanied by an LED flash. Both cameras can record 1080p videos, but only the main shooter is auto focus, while the secondary snapper is fixed focus.
The other notable specs are rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual SIM capability with LTE connectivity, micro USB 2.0 port with OTG function, 3200mAh battery, and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Color OS 3.2 on top.
