Vivo Plans To Expand To More Global Markets

Vivo has been a fast growing smartphone manufacturer in Asia. Now, it already penetrated Hong Kong with the launch of the X20 from Vivo's X Series. Vivo is looking to expand more with their eyes on more global markets.

Some of their target markets are Taiwan and Singapore in Asia, Russia in Europe and, by next year, the African market. They already have presence in India, Thailand, the Philippines, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Cambodia and Bangladesh wherein they recently launched the V7+.

According to Counterpoint, a leading global industry analysis company, now hold 48% of the global smartphone market share as they continue to grow beyond mainland China. Vivo is expanding globally by giving their fans devices that encourage self expression and inspire confidence.

In addition to that, Gartner's research show that Vivo is 5th in global smartphone sales for Q2 of 2017 with a 6.6% market share.

Vivo's Senior Vice President, Alex Feng, stated this about their expansion efforts:

Vivo really wants to bring their latest devices to the global market. With great releases such as the Vivo V7+ and X20, they are on the right track.
