| Free Up Space, Find and Share Files on Your Phone through Google’s Files Go App |
Aiming to help users in managing their files, Files Go boasts four features to accompany users: Freeing up space; Finding files faster; Backup files to the cloud; and Share files offline.
On that note, Files Go has personalized suggestions about which files to delete, including unused apps, large files, duplicate files, and low resolution videos. It uses Google’s latest Mobile Vision technology to detect memes, as well.
Also, it features smart filters that automatically organize images, videos, apps, documents, and more. Users can even transfer files directly from their device to a nearby smartphone through the app. It also ensures users that the file transfers are encrypted, fast, and offline.
Meanwhile, if users aren’t sure whether they want to delete a file, Files Go allows them to back it up to Google Drive or any other cloud storage app.
