Sony has announced new phones at the CES 2018 in Las Vegas. The upcoming mid-tier smartphones include the Xperia XA2 and Xperia XA2 Ultra.

The standard model XA2 flaunts a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen that has 1920 x 1080 resolution, translating to 424ppi. Its screen has Corning Gorilla Glass, as well.

Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor clocked at 2.2GHz paired with Adreno 510 GPU. It is complemented with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

It also has 23-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front shooter, and 3300mAh battery, too.

Meanwhile, the Xperia XA2 Ultra comes with a bigger 6.0-inch Full HD IPS LCD display that has 1920 x 1080 resolution, translating to 367ppi. It has Corning Gorilla Glass, too.

The Ultra variant is powered by  the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor clocked at 2.2GHz. It packs Adreno 510 GPU, as well. However, it has a bigger 4GB RAM, while it is available up to 54GB of internal storage.

As a selfie-centric smartphone, it is geared with 23-megapixel rear PDAF camera, and 16-megapixel + 8-megapixel front shooters. It also comes with a bigger 3580mAh battery.

Both running on Android 8.0 Oreo, the Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra will be available in key markets starting February 2018.
