Apple to Repair iPhone 7 Devices with “No Service” Issue for Free

After admitting that it's slowing down older iPhones to prevent unexpected shutdowns, Apple recently addressed that a small percentage of iPhone 7 devices are affected by the “No Service” bug, preventing it from connecting to a network.

With this, the smartphone giant manufacturer has announced its free service in repairing affected devices.

Apple admitted that the said issue is due to a failed component on the main logic board, too. However, the company has issued restrictions. Must be of a specific model, Apple noted that these smartphones must be manufactured between September 2016 to February 2018. It must be sold in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macao, and the United States, as well.

Moreover, if an affected device has unrelated issues, customers must resolve that first before getting a free “No Service” repair. In addition, it may necessitate consumers to get their affected device repaired in the country or region of purchase.

Also, an affected iPhone is only eligible for this free service if it is purchased less than two years ago.
