The Ocenia and Asian regions are two of the fastest growing markets and the future of mobility relies on the industries adaptation with it. The 4th run of Nissan Futures will focus on expanding markets in Asia and Oceania. The theme this year is "Future of Mobility - Electrification and Beyond".

The discussions at this event will revolve around how new mobility solutions can help in the battle against pollution and congestion as well as helping in the urbanization of the regions. Nissan is in a good position to take the lead and help enhance the mobility in the regions by introducing more electrification, autonomy and connectivity through the Nissan Intelligent Mobility project. Nissan wants to change how cars are powered, driven and integrated into the society.

Yukata Sanada, Nissan Regional Senior VP, stated this:

Nissan is committed to delivering smarter, safer, sustainable mobility solutions for the future. But we can’t drive the future of mobility alone. Exchanging insights between public and private stakeholders – like we do at Nissan Futures – helps create a common understanding of the path ahead and fosters collaboration.

During Nissan Futures, Frost & Sullivan will unveil the results of a Nissan-commissioned study about the future of electric vehicles in Southeast Asia. The study's consumer research in the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam showed the demand for electric vehicles, motivating factors for purchase and what hinders the region's adaptation of electric vehicles.

Nissan Futures will take place from Feb. 5-7 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Center.
