After series of rumors, Xiaomi has finally unveiled the
Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro in India.

The brand’s latest mid-range smartphones share some specs,
including a 5.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 screen.
The Redmi Note 5 is powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 625
octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz, and is paired with Adreno 506 GPU. It offers
up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage, as well. On the other hand,
the Pro variant is packed with Snapdragon 636, Adreno 509, and is available up
to 6GB of RAM.
The regular model
sports 12-megapixel main camera and 5-megapixel front shooter, while the Pro
version features 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel rear cameras and 20-megapixel
selfie camera. Both smartphones boast 4000mAh battery, though.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is tagged at Rs. 9,999 (3GB/32GB)
and Rs. 11,999 (4GB/64GB), while the Redmi Note 5 Pro sells for Rs. 13,999
(4GB) and Rs. 16,999 (6GB).
Meanwhile, Xiaomi is coming back to the Philippines onFebruary 17!
