| Vivo V9 Launches in PH for Php17,990; Android Oreo, 19:9 Display, 24MP Selfie Camera |
The Vivo V9 boasts a 6.3-inch Full View IPS display with a Full HD+ resolution, that is 2280 x 1080 pixels based on 19:9 aspect ratio. It is the first Android phone to arrive in the local market with top "notch", much like of that found in Apple iPhone X. In real life, the notch doesn't look bad at all, and the placement of the battery stat, time, and other info actually looks good and natural.
Moving on, the V9 is powered by the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 626 chipset that has an octa core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Vivo's newest proprietary skin, which is the FunTouch OS 4.0.

In terms of photography, the front is equipped with a 24MP sensor that has f/2.0 aperture, while the back comes with a dual rear camera setup - a 16MP plus a 5MP sensors. Both main and secondary cameras are enhanced with powerful software and machine learning algorithm that provides great photos and perfect shot every single time.
Other notable specs are rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, face recognition for added security, 3260mAh battery, dual SIM with LTE connectivity, dedicated Micro SD card slot.
It will retail for Php17,990 and comes with free TPU case and pre-installed screen protector. The pre-order starts on March 26 until April, those who will do so will received anti-theft bag and extra 6 months warranty.
