The Xiaomi Redmi 5 16GB variant will be on flash sale at Shopee on April 4, 2018 with a special price of only Php5,990. In addition, there will be a 10% rebate or cashback in the form of Shopee coins. For those uninitiated, Shopee Coins are Shopee’s virtual currency that can be used to get discounts on any order.

Meanwhile, the Redmi 5 sports a 5.7-inch display with HD+ resolution powered by Qualcomm octa core Snapdragon 450 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It also has 12MP primary shooter and a 5MP secondary snapper. Basically, it is the same Redmi 5 that was launched in the physical store in SM Megamall, albeit the smaller memory.
