China based Da Yang Motors has officially unveiled its pure electric-powered scooter in the Philippines – the Ecooter.

Powered by 2500W electric motor, the Ecooter can drive at a top speed of 75km/hr, running 80km in distance when fully charged. Meanwhile, it is equipped with a removable 20Ah Lithium battery, which can be charged by simply using a standard power outlet.

Meanwhile, to ensure that the vehicle can really accompany you while you’re on the road, Ecooter Philippines eyes to have Battery Rental Charging Stations all over Metro Manila, in collaboration with various convenient stores and dealers. However, it will take six hours to fully charge its battery.

On the other hand, it is packed with pedals that will enable owners to still use it even when it ran out of power while they are on the go.

Available in black, gray, white, red, and yellow color variants, it’s local pricing starts at Php80,000. Ecooter Philippines will flash a 2-year warranty for its battery, and 1-year warranty for the scooter itself.
