OPPO recently unleashed its latest flagship smartphone – the F7. Although it already packs an affordable price tag, the Chinese phone manufacturer still launched a new smartphone that disguises as an F7 toned-down variant – the A3.

Flaunting a huge 6.23-inch Full HD+ display, the A3 looks identical with the F7 as it also features a notched design. It comes with 19:9 screen aspect ratio, too. However, it dumps the rear fingerprint scanner to offer a flawless glass-like back design. But why would you compromise that, OPPO?

Under the hood, it shares the same specs with the F7, as it packs Helio P60 chip, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage.

One of its main downgrades would be its cameras. Unlike the whopping 25-megapixel front shooter of the F7, the A3 just sports an 8-megapixel f/2.2 selfie snapper and 16-megapixel f/1.8 main camera.

It is available in Black, Silver, Pink, and Red color variants that feature a triangular design just like the Diamond Black F7. The A3 sells for CNY 2099 in China (or roughly Php17.2K).

Meanwhile, there are no words yet about its local pricing and availability.
