Tagged as ThinQ, the brand stresses its plan to deliver smarter devices through adding its own ThinQ Internet of Things ecosystem on its smartphones. The device is also durable enough, as it boasts a MIL-STD 810G rated metal and glass construction that comes with IP68 water and dust resistance.
Its front is dominated by its 6.1-inch QHD+ FullVision Super Bright panel with 3120 x 1440 pixel, translating to 563 ppi. It features a 19:5:9 screen aspect ratio as it flaunts a notched design. It comes with Gorilla Glass 5 protection, as well.
Under the hood, it packs 64-bit Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor clocked at 2.8GHz that is paired with Adreno 630 GPU. Available in two variants, the G7 and Plus models differ only in its RAM capacities and internal storage. The standard variant comes with 4GB/64GB, while the G7+ is equipped with a bigger 6GB/128GB configuration. However, both models are powered by 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and wireless charging.

Camera wise, the series is geared with dual rear cameras that is composed of 16-megapixel with 71-degree wide-angle lens and 16MP with 107-degree wide angle sensor. It flashes an 8-megapixel selfie snapper with 80-degree wide-angle lens, as well. It also offers 19 AI-assisted modes to enhance your mobile photography.
In addition, LG adds DTS:X to the device, allowing it to deliver virtual 3D sound for all content. It has Hi-Fi DAC and Boombox Speaker, too.
The LG G7 ThinQ series will be available in South Korea in the coming days, while its official pricing is yet to be announced.
