Impressive

As a wedding and portrait photographer, Pilar Trigo Bonnin knows the importance of her lens to highlight the face or body of her subject.

“My all around lens for wedding and fashion is the 24-70 G-Master Lens.  It gives me the complete flexibility of establishing shots, documentary and portraiture. I also use the 70-200 during the vows and reception when you want to be far away from the subjects to not interfere with the solemnity of the event. The 16-35 is great for environmental portraiture, group shots and wide establishing shots. For portraiture and studio work, I love using the 85 1.4 G-Master lens. I love the sharpness and separation of subject and background that the 1.4 gives,” Bonnin said.

Intelligent and Efficient

Manny Librodo, a travel and fashion photographer, said that his lens acts as his eyes, which means having the right lens is a very big deal in order to capture every bit of detail.

“My favorite is the 24-70. It is a very flexible lens as I can shoot a very tight portrait and an environmental portrait using different focal lengths.  It is my lens of choice if I can only pack one. I also love the wide frame of the 16-35 lens. I can tell more stories if I include more environments. On the other hand, the 70-200 lens comes in very handy during festivals when you want to zero in on some specific subjects,” Librodo addressed.

“I use the 24-70mm lens because by far the best 24-70mm lens in the industry. I can shoot practically anything with this lens, a wedding film even a whole movie! It’s that versatile and it’s really sharp at all ranges. If there was only one lens for me to use in any situation, that would definitely be the 24-70mm G master of Sony,” Pagcaliwagan noted.

“I like using the 70-200mm because of its quality and how sharp the subject turns out to be and how fast and easy it is to focus on your subject. When filming a wedding, it is very important to capture those great reactions of your subjects,” Hubag explained.
