Vivo has released a new update on its entry-level smartphone, the Vivo Y53 enabling the Face ID Access to have more option in unlocking the device.

As we recall, the Vivo Y53 is a low-end Android smartphone that features a 5-inch display in a standard 16:9 body. Under the hood, there's a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor with Adreno 306, 16GB of expandable storage and 2GB of RAM,

In the camera department, an 8MP primary camera is located at the back, while the front camera is a 5MP selfie shooter with screen flash. Battery-wise, it has 2,500 mAh non-removable capacity. Lastly, it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, with the company's proprietary Funtouch OS.

The Vivo Y53 is available in two colors: Space Gray and Crown Gold for a price of P5,990.
