DJI Mavic Air Lands in PH through MSI-ECS! Yours for Only Php61K

To cap off our busy week, our team went on a trip with MSI-ECS to experience DJI's latest Mavic Air drone at Costa Pacifica in Baler, Aurora. With this, we’re able to unfold adventures with the brand’s newest portable yet still capable travel gear.

To begin with, the Mavic Air flaunts an ergonomic, foldable, and compact design, which will allow users to carry the device conveniently from one place to another. Really, gone are the days when taking a drone on a trip means packing a space-eater device. In fact, this drone is as wide and tall as a smartphone when folded. Moreover, its foldable controller features detachable sticks, making it handier during travels.

The Mavic Air also houses a 3-axis stabilized gimbal that allows the drone to capture steadier shots even on a shaky situation. Sporting a 12-megapixel CMOS sensor, the device can even stitch 25 photos together in just 8 seconds to produce clear 32-megapixel sphere panoramas. It can take vertical, horizontal, and 180-degree panoramas, as well.

For video shooting, it records video at 4K 30fps, recording at 100Mbps with UHD quality. It supports 1080p 120fps slow-motion video, too.

The Mavic Air has a maximum flight of 21 minutes, and has a maximum video transmission distance of 4 kilometers. It comes with 8GB of internal storage, and has a slot for a microSD card to give more space for your captured files. It also boasts a USB 3.0 Type-C port to let consumers transfer videos and photos on other devices.

Some of its features worth mentioning include ActiveTrack, which can detect up to 16 selectable subjects simultaneously and follows target all the time; QuickShots, such as Rocket, Dronie, Circle, Helix, Asteroid, and Boomerang; SmartCapture, which allows you to take a shot by a simple hand gesture; and TapFly, which enables consumers to just focus on their shot.
