After weeks and tons of teasers, Vivo Philippines finally revealed their latest device in the country in a very extravagant event held at the Okada Manila. Meet the Vivo X21.
The Vivo X21 boasts a 6.28-inch Super AMOLED display with a tall 19:9 ratio and Full HD+ resolution. The side bezels are just 1.66m thin, and the notch is quite slim, giving the phone a 90.3% screen-to-body ratio. Moreover, Vivo incorporates P3 display color management technology to ensure accurate and natural-looking colors.
Camera wise, Vivo continue its commitment to provide excellent image qualities with its dual rear shooters, that is 12MP + 5MP sensors, and another 12-megapixel module is mounted in the front for taking selfies. Both the 12MP cameras have Dual Pixel sensors, fast focusing technology, and AI. Speaking of AI, it has Scene Recognition that can detect 140 different scenarios, Face Beauty that generates custom beautification effects, and HDR that can automatically identify lighting conditions.

Under the hood, it is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660AIE chip, it has an octa processor and ability to process complex AI. To make everything fast and smooth, the smartphone brand pair it with a huge 6GB of RAM. It also has large 128GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via MicroSD card.
That is just the tip of the iceberg, the main highlight of the Vivo X21 is the In-Display Fingerprint Scanning Technology, the first of its kind that becomes commercially available in the market, not only from Vivo, but also from other brands. It is considered as a major breakthrough that others have tried before but failed. And, this new technology really works!
Other things worth mentioning are the Hi-Fi AK4376A audio chip for a more immersive audio experience, 3200mAh battery, and runs on the Android 8.1 with Funtouch OS 4.0 on top.
