| Cherry Mobile Omega HD Duo Silently Announced for Php4,999 |
The Cherry Mobile Omega HD Duo sports a 5.2-inch touchscreen display with HD resolution. On the inside, it is powered by 1.3GHz quad core processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on board storage. The chipset is unknown at this point, but we bet it could be the MediaTek MT6737, since it has LTE connectivity, while the commonly used MT6580 has none.
With the phone image above and the Duo on its name, we thought that it has dual rear cameras. But, the key specs written only say it has 1, that is a 13MP main shooter. Meanwhile, the front snapper employs an 8MP sensor.

The other details we know so far are dual SIM functionality, runs on the Android Oreo operation system, expandable storage up to 64GB, and it has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
It retails for Php4,999, which many would consider a bit steep, but at this point of time, we can't really tell. It is not yet available at SM Sta. Mesa, so we guess it still does not hit the shelve of other stores too.
