BlackBerry has introduced its new smartphone line in India – the Evolve.

The new Blackberry series is composed of two devices: the Evolve and Evolve X. Almost appear the same, the devices differ inside as one of it is more capable than the other.

Both the Evolve and Evolve X flaunt a huge 5.99-inch screen with FHD+ LTPS display. It offers 2160 x 1080 resolution, translating to 18:9 screen aspect ratio. The two devices come with Gorilla Glass 5 protection, as well.

Under the hood, the regular variant is powered by Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor complemented with Adreno 506 graphics. It is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the Evolve X loads a more powerful Snapdragon 660 chipset paired with Adreno 512 GPU. It comes with a bigger 6GB of RAM, and the same 64GB ROM.

Moving on to its camera offerings, the Evolve packs 13-megapixel RGB + 13-megapixel monochrome dual rear cameras, and 16-megapixel selfie snapper. Meanwhile, the X model is geared with 12-megapixel + 13-megapixel dual sensors on the back, and 16-megapixel front shooter.

Both smartphones sport 4000mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0 and wireless charging. The two phones carry a fingerprint sensor on its rear, as well.

The Evolve and Evolve X are running on Android 8.1 Oreo O.S. with DTEK by BlackBerry.

The Evolve is priced at INR 24,990 (~Php20K), while the Evolve X is tagged at INR 34,990 (~Php27K). It will be available in late August and in September, respectively.
