| OPPO F9 Launches in Thailand; Specs Revealed! |
The OPPO F9 comes with obvious upgrades from the F7. The device now has a bigger 6.3-inch FHD+ TFT-LTPS screen with a small notch on top dubbed as a “waterdrop” display. However, under the hood, it is still powered by Helio P60 octa-core chipset along with dual-core AI and Mali-G72 MP3 graphics. Luckily, it now comes with a larger 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
As a camera-focused device, the F9 sports 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual rear cameras, and 25-megapixel selfie snapper that has A.I. Beauty Recognition to offers natural-looking self-photos.
On the other hand, what appears to be its key upgrade is found on its battery. OPPO equips the F9 with 3500mAh juice with VOOC flash charge. The latter is said to provide 2 hours of talk time with just 5 minutes of charge.
The device runs on ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

In Thailand, the OPPO F9 is now up for pre-order for TBH 10,990 (~Php17.6K). Those who will pre-order will get a free JBL Clip 2 Bluetooth speaker, 30000mAh HOCO Powerbank, Audio-Technica Earphone, oppo Smart Bag and VIP card, and a 20-inch luggage.
Meanwhile, in the Philippines, the F9 will be unveiled on August 15.
