PayMaya users can register and upgrade their accounts to receive remittances using the app. To add money to their accounts, users can go directly to 15,000 Add Money stations all over the Philippines. Add Money stations can be found in SM Business Centers, Robinsons Business Centers, Cliqq Kiosks at 7-Eleven, Petron stations along NLEX, UnionBank ATMs, Shopwise, Wellcome, 2Go outlets, Smart Padala centers, Palawan Pawnshop, Cebuana Lhuillier, and online banking via RCBC and UnionBank.

By simply putting Western Union's unique tracking number (MTCN), the money transfer can reflect and receive inside the PayMaya wallet within a few minutes. PayMaya wallet has a maximum capacity of USD2,000 (approximately Php100,000) per month. Users will receive an SMS notification when money has been added to their account to help them monitor their transactions.

Aside from remittances, PayMaya users can use the app to pay bills, shop online, get awesome discounts and pay in-store items via PayMaya QR. Users also have the option to upgrade into a physical PayMaya card to let them withdraw their money at Bancnet ATMs nationwide.
