Acer OJO 500's design is the first Windows Mixed Reality to have a detachable design. This design can be easily cleaned and stored because the lens and head strap are detachable to one another. Also, it's available in soft and hard head strap variants. Their difference is that the soft head strap is machine washable while the hard head strap has an extra-large padding that fits it firmly in place. The mask itself is flexible and hygienic which benefits businesses and users.

Of course,  we need to learn what can Acer OJO 500 offer in terms of performance. It has 2.89-inch high-resolution liquid crystal display that can give a 100-degree field view and has 2880x1440 resolution. For a better viewing experience, the device has a built-in interpupillary distance (IPD) wheel that lets the device customize the viewing experience based on the gap between the eye's pupil and the display.

The device has built-in speakers that uses a patented sound pipe design. This enables the users to hear quality audio without earphones. However, if users want a more focus gaming experience the use of hard head strap or an earphone of their choice with the soft head strap is recommended.

Furthermore, the device has a quick and easy setup that only requires the headset to be connected to a Windows Reality-ready PC. The 6 degrees of freedom positional tracking include forward/back, up/down, and left/right as well as pitch, yaw and roll. Connectivity-wise, the headset comes with a 4 meter cable, allowing a wide range of movement, and connects to a PC via HDMI 2.0, while a USB 3.0 connector downloads data. The Acer OJO 500 comes with an optional configuration that includes two Bluetooth enabled motion controllers that sync with the headset; a Windows 10 button, touchpad, and grab button to let users have an interaction with the digital objects in mixed reality.

Play over 2,500 games and application with Acer OJO 500! For more information, visit the Acer website.
