Huawei Mate 20 Now Official!

After waves of teasing consumers and throwing shades to its competitors, Huawei finally took its stage in London as it launched its latest Mate 20 series, including the regular Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 Rs, and Mate 20 X.

Right now, let's put our spotlight on the Huawei Mate 20. The device is dominated by a 6.53-inch panel with a small notch, resulting to a 2244 x 1080 RGBW display with 18.7:9 aspect ratio. With this, the device bags a notably high 88.07% screen-to-body ratio.

To fuel-up the Mate 20 smartphone, it carries the world’s first 7nm SoC Kirin 980 chipset paired with Mali-G76 MP10 graphics. The device is coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage via a NanoSD card, which is a bit rare and expensive at this point of time.

Moving on to its photography department, the Mate 20 sports triple Leica cameras on its back composed of a 16-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide shooter, 12-megapixel f/1.8 wide-angle sensor, and 8-megapixel f/2.4 2x telephoto lens. For selfie, it comes with a 24-megapixel snapper.

Powering up the device, on the other hand, is a 4000mAh battery that supports 40W SuperCharge.

Just like the Mate 20 Pro, the regular variant runs on Android 9 Pie with MIUI 9.0 skin on top.

The Huawei Mate 20 is priced at EUR 799 (~Php50K) for the 4GB/128GB variant, and EUR 1,049  (~Php65K) for the 6GB/128GB model.
