Equipped with Neural Processing Unit (NPU), the Korean tech giant claimed that its new chipset is engineered specially for AI applications, faster internet speeds, and smoother performance. The company also boasted that through NPU, the Exynos 9820 can power up multiple computing processes without any lags or delays.

The Exynos 9820 comes with a 4th Gen CPU based on tri-cluster architecture. It has 2 custom cores, 2 Cortex-A75 cores, and 4 Cortex-A55 cores, as well. Samsung expects that this will enhance single core performance by up to 20 percent, and boost power efficiency by up to 40 percent. Multi-core performance is said to increase by up to 15% too.
