ASUS CEO Jerry Shen Resigns; Marks Company’s New Direction |
In case you missed it, in his 11 years of service as ASUS' CEO, Shen became a part of the brand’s success through the launch of ZenFone series, ZenBook, PadFone, and Transformer series. However, as Shen resigned, ASUS will be jumping off to its new mobile strategy.

ASUS admitted that it will now focus more on gaming devices. This suggests that consumers will be seeing less ZenFones starting next year. This decision isn’t surprising though, as ASUS recorded NTD 6 billion (~Php10.2 billion) loss in its mobile department. Nevertheless, we could expect that the brand will still release more ROG Phones.
