With international smartphone manufacturers aggressively entering the local shore, CloudFone has inked partnership with foreign brands to come up with a new strategy for a more competitive presence in the market.

The alliance is composed of Blu (United States, Caribbean, Latin America, and Hong Kong), Multilaser (Brazil), BQ Mobile (Russia), Mobicel (South Africa) Wiko (Algeria, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Kenya, Luxembourg, Morocco, Netherlands, Nigeria, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, and Vietnam), Lanix (Mexico), and CloudFone (Philippines).

Through this collaboration, all of them will work together to produce A-grade smartphones. This means that CloudFone’s upcoming devices will go through the rigid quality standards and approval process of these brands before releasing it in the country.

“We share quality control and assurance as a group. Our phones need to pass the stringent requirements of each country. Our products go through the toughest quality standards but because of our alliance we are able to pass through those standards,”  Eric Yu, CloudFone President and CEO, addressed.

CloudFone also ensured that they will continue to provide great smartphones with affordable price tags.
