| Xiaomi Mi Play Announced |
Aesthetically, the Mi Play is dressed with a glass-like body that will definitely remind you of Huawei’s Nova 3-line. It comes with a gradient design, as well, which shares the same look with the latter. However, in front, the device flaunts a tiny notch that is almost identical with waterdrop and halo displays found on new OPPO and Vivo handsets.
Moving on to its display, the Mi Play flashes a 5.84-inch panel with FHD+ 2280 x 1080 screen, and 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the unit carries a 2.3GHz Helio P35 octa-core processor, and IMG PowerVR GE8320 grahics. It is coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage, too.

Xiaomi also equipped the Mi Play with dual-rear camera setup, composed of a 12-megapixel f/2.2 main shooter and 2-megapixel depth sensor for bokeh. For selfies, on the other hand, it is mounted with an 8-megapixel snapper with AI capabilities to enhance your photos.
The Mi Play boasts an underwhelming 3000mAh battery, though.
Xiaomi bundled the Mi Play with free 10GB of data for 12 months in China, and is priced at CNY 1,099 or roughly at ~Php8.5K.
