CES 2019: Acer Intros Slimmer and Lighter Swift 7 Laptop |
The Acer Swift 7 was first launched last CES 2018, however, the company has dropped an upgraded variant that packs tinier bezels, and Intel’s latest processors.
The Acer Swift 7 flaunts a 14-inch FHD 1920 x 1080 touchscreen with tiny bezels, resulting to a 92% screen-to-body ratio. The device is 9.95mm slim, and is now lighter at just 1.96 pounds, as well. The device also comes with a backlit keyboard, and Windows Hello fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, it carries an 8th Gen Core i7-8500Y Amber Lake processor complemented with up to 512GB PCIe SSD storage, up to 16GB LPDDR3 RAM, and up to 10 hours of battery life.

Other notable features include 2x Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports, headphone jack, and a 65-degree rotatable pop-up camera.
The new Swift 7 has a starting price of USD 1,699 (~Php89K).
