First, the Dell Latitude 7400 Convertible Laptop. The 14-inch device has the new features for detecting the user's presence. A proximity sensor ensures that the device turns on automatically when you sit in front of the screen. The face recognition also contributes to the fact that for the commissioning of the machine no button pressure and no click are necessary. The battery promises a running time of up to 24 hours. The starting price starts at $1,599.

The Latitude 7400 comes with a packaging made of recycled material. Dell has set itself the goal of using around 45 million kilos of recycled material for its products by April's Earth Day. Another project is the reprocessing of 900 million kilograms of electronic waste by 2020.

It comes with a 14-inch display, and according to Dell, can run for up to 24 hours. An express charge should charge the battery to 80 percent of its capacity in just one hour.

In addition, Dell has also updated the popular XPS 13. Dell has put a lot of effort into developing the webcam for the Dell XPS 13 (9380). Because, one often expressed criticism of the previous models was the positioning of the webcam under the display. This design decision, which leads to an unfavorable camera perspective, was due to the extremely narrow display edge. From now on, the webcam is now sitting in the usual place above the screen. For this purpose, a 2.25 mm small webcam was developed, which fits in the narrow edge. It offers a 720p resolution, but no support for Windows 10 Hello. For this, the XPS 13 (9380) has a fingerprint scanner in the power button. In terms of pricing, the starting price of the new XPS 13 is at $899.99.

Another revision was the Dell Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 Notebook. By default, the devices available in 13 and 15 inches are equipped with a pin located in the hinge of the housing. The power button now also acts as a fingerprint sensor. Thanks to Adaptive Thermal technology, the new Inspiron 7000 detects whether it is in the user's lap or on the desk, and adjusts its performance accordingly. Price and availability are yet to be determined.

Meanwhile, Dell Mobile Connect comes with new features. On the one hand, with the revised software, a simple data exchange between computer and smartphone is possible. The transmission works without cable and without internet connection, both for Android devices and iPhones. In addition, the software allows you to take your own smartphone into virtual reality and use it to text, call and use apps in gaming worlds.

And finally, Dell Cinema also gets an update. Both the image and the audio playback undergo revisions. The video streaming service from Dell missed some optimizations for faster buffering and a higher resolution.
