| Fujifilm GFX 50R Now in the Philippines; Price Starts at Php259,990 |
The Fujifilm GFX 50R is the follow-up of the Fujifilm GFX 50S, also a medium format mirrorless camera that was released in the country last November 17. Basically, the GFX 50R and GFX 50S are identical in terms of shooting capabilities as they have the same sensor and processor. It still has the same 51.4-megapixels based on 43.8mm x 32.9mm Bayer array image sensor.

The main difference between the two is in the body type. The older variant looks like a DSLR and a modular type, wherein users can add a battery grip and other accessories, while the newer one has a smaller body and has a rangefinder too!

According to Glenn Michael Gata, Fujifilm Philippines' marketing head, the GFX 50S is meant for studio photographers, while the GFX 50R is intended for those outdoor shooters. Of course, it still depends on how their owners will use their precious cameras.
