| Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite to Get Super Night Scene Camera Update |
In case you missed it, the Super Night Scene mode was initially available on the brand’s premium smartphone – the Mi MIX 3. However, recently, the Chinese mobile maker made an effort to arm its more affordable devices with the said feature. In fact, even the Redmi Note 7 will be getting the said camera update.
Now, Xiaomi Vice President and co-founder Chuan Wang has revealed that the Mi 8 Lite will also receive the Super Night Scene feature. Wang teased that the company is currently busy working on bringing the Mi MIX 3’s Super Night Scene algorithm to the Mi 8 Lite.
As a quick recap, the Mi 8 Lite features a 6.26-inch FHD+ panel. Under the hood, it is powered by Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor paired with Adreno 512 graphics. The device is coupled with up to 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. It boasts 3350mAh battery, too, that supports Quick Charge 3.0.

Moving on to its photography department, the handset is mounted with a dual-rear camera setup composed of a 12-megapixel f/1.9 main sensor, and a 5-megapixel f/2.0 shooter. For selfies, it is equipped with a 24-megapixel f/2.2 snapper.
