The Xiaomi Redmi 7A sports a 5.45-inch panel with an HD+ 1440 x 720 resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. Meaning, the device is not mounted with a notch to house its selfie snapper and earpiece. Though it didn’t come with a trendy design, we believed that many consumers are still hooked with this screen aspect ratio.
Under the hood, the device is geared with the Snapdragon 439 processor, which can be coupled with 2GB of RAM and up to 32GB of expandable storage. With these offerings, it’s obvious that the handset is designed to handle light mobile activities.
Good thing, Redmi juiced it with a 4,000mAh battery. Noting that the Snapdragon 439 chipset can deliver a good energy-efficient performance, the Redmi 7A is expected to offer a long battery life that can accompany users all throughout the day.
Moving on to its photography department, the handset is equipped with a 13-megapixel main shooter, and a 5-megapixel front camera. The device comes with P2i splash-resistant certification, as well.
Out of the box, the Redmi 7A runs on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 on top.
The 2GB+16GB variant retails for Php4,790 while the 2GB+32GB model sells for Php5,290. The latter will be the one on sale tomorrow at Shopee for only Php2,600. It will be via a flash deal sale happening from 9AM to 11:59PM.
