Speaking of apps, Apple also packed its new iOS with tons of updates for its first-party apps. For instance, Safari will now have options to change text sizing and settings. Meanwhile, Apple Maps now has the ability to share your ETA with friends. It sports Look Around feature, as well, which allows users to move from one location to another – yup, it works just like Google Street View.

For security, users can share their location with an app just once, while third-party developers won’t be able to share details about the users’ WiFi network or Bluetooth signal. The company also introduced "Sign in with Apple," which enables users to create an account without having to share personal information.

Moving on, iMessage lets users add a profile picture, and share it with their contacts. Users have control of who can see their photo, as well.

For Photos, Apple adds new portrait lighting effect that becomes more personalized, while the camera app has more pro features, too. In addition, the update now allows users to rotate their videos.

On the other hand, Siri got a new and more natural voice, while Face ID is now 30% faster, downloads are 50% smaller, updates are 60% smaller, and launches are twice as fast as the former iOS.
