| Keep Safe on the Streets with Croxtec Road Safety App |
The Croxtec app is designed to upgrade pedestrian safety by making them more mindful. Once installed, the app will ask users to determine whether they are a pedestrian or a motorist. Then, it will start locating users to alert them if they are in the corresponding Croxtec zones. Hence, the app lets users know their safety status as a pedestrian or a motorist.
The Croxtec Zones for pedestrians are defined as follows:
- Safe Zone – the user is within a radius of 25 meters and more
- Caution Zone – the user is within a radius of 16 meters to 25 meters
- Unsafe Zone – the user is within a radius of less than 16 meters
The Croxtec Zones for motorists are defined as follows:
- Safe Zone – the user is within a radius of more than 75 meters
- Caution Zone – the user is within a radius of 31 meters to 75 meters
- Unsafe Zone – the user is less than 31 meters

With only data connection needed to run the application, Croxtec will be able to alert users in three ways: vibrate, tone, and voice.
The company explained that Croxtec can be kept running in the background while users are enjoying other apps, too. It can also continue detecting user’s location and movement, allowing to provide the appropriate alerts.
The Croxtec app is now available on Google Play. It will be available on App Store soon.
