| Vivo APEX 2019 5G Concept Smartphone Lands in PH |
As a quick recap, Vivo initially introduced its concept smartphone last January 2019. With its striking design and tricky features, the device has become one of the most anticipated handsets. In fact, some consumers are too eager to know when will Vivo officially launch the unit.
The APEX 2019 features an immersive 6.39-inch AMOLED display. Its screen is equipped with full in-display fingerprint scanner, too.
It's also the first Vivo smartphone to bring 5G connectivity, as it is powered by a flagship Snapdragon 855 chipset. It is paired with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage, as well. These offerings suggest that the phone will be powerful enough to battle out other high-end devices from its rival brands.
The device sports 12MP + 13MP dual rear shooters, too.

Its power button has a capacitive sensor, while its display doubles as a speaker through its Body SoundCasting technology. For charging, its back boasts the brand’s MagPort solution, which means that users can charge the device through magnets.
As a concept smartphone, the Vivo APEX 2019 will not go on sale. However, some of its key specs are expected to arrive on other Vivo smartphones that will be commercially available soon.
