The program -- HopeWash -- positions students and graduates of HIS, a non-stock non-profit organization based in Cavite dedicated to individuals with special needs, to be employable and lead functional lives.

LG and Bigwash pushed for the construction and training of the staff, which consists of HIS alumnus, for the Washabilities Laundry Shop.

The electronics firm then donated five sets of commercial washers and dryers, one commercial refrigerator, and one 43” TV set.

Unilever also lent a hand by donating laundry detergents specially formulated for the commercial washers.

“We are firm believers in HIS’s goal of providing these children a future to look forward to. We want to empower them as much as we are able to. Our intuitive design provides accessibility through straightforward simplicity,” said LG managing director Heo Inkwun.

Washabilities Laundry Shop is now open and ready to serve all of your laundry needs at 135 Remulla Compound Paliparan Road, Molino 4, Bacoor, Cavite.
