| Canon Holds PhotoMarathon Regional Championship |
This year’s competition has a theme of “Sipat Pilipinas.” With this, Canon eyes to inspire its participants to capture beyond the ordinary and produce photographs from their own unique perspectives.
The competition also allowed Canon to still own the photography space by providing platforms that can showcase the world-class talent of Filipino photographers, and enable them to make their mark in the global scene.

“Year on year, we notice how the interest in photography is increasing, thus the call for us to create more avenues wherein people of all ages can explore their passion in photography. This year’s theme is all about looking beyond the ordinary, which we believe would be a creative way to challenge our participants, put them to the test, to produce the best photographs they didn’t know they could achieve,” Kazuhiro Ozawa, President and CEO of Canon Marketing Philippines, addressed.

The winner of this year’s photomarathon will also get a chance to represent the Philippines in the prestigious PhotoMarathon Grand Championships 2020.
