The Cherry Mobile Flare J5 Mini sports a 4.95-inch Trueview display, which means that it has an aspect ratio of 18:9. On the inside, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. To ensure running apps and games smoothly, or at least bearable to users, it comes with Android Oreo Go Edition as its operating system.

In terms of photography capabilities, there is an 8MP rear-mounted camera accompanied by an LED flash for capturing everyday moments, while a 2MP shooter in the front handles taking selfies and video calls.
This handset can accommodate two MicroSD SIM cards that are 3G ready. The other notable details are expandable storage up to 64GB, and it is available in four colors, namely Black, Blue, Gold, and Purple.
It was priced at 2,599 pesos when it was launched, but now it is 300 pesos more affordable, bringing down its new asking price for only Php2,299.
