Honor has unveiled its first 5G smartphone series – the Honor V30, which is composed of the regular V30 and V30 Pro.

Let’s focus first on the regular variant. The V30 sports a 6.47-inch screen with an FHD+ 2400 x 1080 resolution. For an immersive display, Honor equipped it with a hole-punch selfie camera on the upper left corner of its panel.

Under the hood, the V30 is powered by a Kirin 990 processor with Balong 5G modem, up to 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage. It is also loaded with a 4,200mAh battery that supports 40W fast charging.

In terms of its photography department, the phone boasts a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 40-megapixel main shooter, 8-megapixel telephoto sensor, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies, it is mounted with 32-megapixel + 8MP dual front snappers.

Meanwhile, the V30 Pro is packed a 7nm Kirin 990 chip integrated with a 5G modem. It is also armed with a large 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, and a slightly smaller 4,100mAh battery that supports 40W fast charging, 27W superfast wireless charging, and 7.5W reverse charging.

In China, the Honor V30 will be available starting December 5, while the V30 Pro will be offered beginning December 12.
