OPPO Launches ColorOS 7 |
With a new tagline, “Smooth and Delightful,” the Chinese mobile maker revealed ColorOS’ new Infinite Design concept, as well as a series of tech solutions, and localized features to enhance users’ mobile experience.
Having a new design, ColorOS now has a lightweight visual approach that will simplify the user interface. It sports new icon customization, and Dark Mode that will enable users to concentrate more on content, and reduce battery consumption.
It features weather-adaptive alarm, too, which automatically adjusts sounds to weather. It also comes with new Artist Wallpaper Project, upgraded haptic design, and elevated overall sound system – made possible by its partnership with Denmark’s audio design company Epic Sound.
For a smoother and faster experience, OPPO developed oFas, oMem, and oSense. oFas is a mechanism of cache preload that makes cold starts as fast as warm starts; oMem adapts to user habits, shifting and allocating system resources accordingly and efficiently; while oSense is a scheduling mechanism that gives priority to front-end and user related threads.

For photography capabilities, the company equipped it with AI Beautification 2., Ultra Night Mode, and Soloop.
OPPO revealed that ColorOS 7 will be rolled out across 20 plus phone models, covering the Reno Find, F, K, and A series in China, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East. Beginning November 26, some users will be able to experience to trial version.
